This 300-Hour Yoga Teacher Training in Nepal (RYT-300) is the next step for certified yoga teachers who want to deepen their practice, refine their teaching skills, and expand their understanding of traditional and modern yoga systems.

With over 20 years of teaching experience, Mandala Yoga Retreat offers an immersive and structured learning environment that blends classical Himalayan wisdom with contemporary teaching methods. The peaceful retreat setting supports focused study, consistent practice, and meaningful personal growth.

This program is designed to enhance both your professional abilities and inner development, helping you grow into a more confident, knowledgeable, and versatile yoga teacher.

Eligibility Note

This 300-Hour Yoga Teacher Training is designed for students who have successfully completed a 200-Hour Yoga Teacher Training from a Yoga Alliance Registered Yoga School (RYS).

Students who have not yet completed a 200-hour certification are not eligible to enroll directly in the 300-hour program. In this case, you have two options: complete a 200-Hour Yoga Teacher Training first and then enroll in the 300-Hour Yoga Teacher Training, or join the 500-Hour Multi-Style Yoga Teacher Training, which combines both the 200-hour and 300-hour training programs into one comprehensive certification course.

The 500-hour program includes advanced subjects, modern and in-demand yoga styles, and a complimentary Reiki Healing course, providing you with the knowledge, practical teaching skills, and internationally recognized certification needed to build a successful career as both a certified yoga teacher and holistic healer anywhere in the world.

What to Expect from This Training (Know Before You Go)

This 300-Hour Yoga Teacher Training in Nepal is an advanced program designed to deepen your practice and refine your teaching skills through a more detailed exploration of yoga.

Many modern 200-hour teacher trainings, especially Western-style programs, focus mainly on physical postures and give limited attention to traditional yoga philosophy, Shatkarma practices, and Classical Hatha Yoga. Since all yoga systems originate from Hatha Yoga, a clear understanding of its principles is essential for a complete practice and teaching foundation.

Our 300-hour course builds on these foundations and revisits key topics from earlier studies in greater depth, offering new perspectives that strengthen your understanding and teaching ability.

By integrating classical yogic wisdom with modern teaching methods, the program helps you connect different yoga styles, develop a stronger personal practice, and teach with clarity and confidence.

This training is designed for those who are ready to deepen their knowledge and grow into more skilled and confident yoga teachers.

At Mandala Yoga Retreat, some classes are shared between the 200-Hour and 300-Hour programs as part of a structured teaching approach. Many students arrive with prior training where key subjects such as Hatha Yoga, Pranayama, Meditation, Mantra Chanting, Yoga Philosophy, and Shatkarma were only briefly covered. These shared sessions revisit core practices in greater depth, helping students strengthen their foundation and refine their teaching skills with clarity and confidence.

Why Choose Mandala Yoga Retreat?

Mandala Yoga Retreat is different from other yoga schools in Nepal, as our teaching style and topics are unique. We introduced multi-style modern yoga teacher training in Nepal 20 years ago, at a time when only Hatha Yoga Teacher Training was available.

Mandala Yoga Retreat is one of the first academies in Nepal to introduce Vinyasa Yoga Course, Yin Yoga Teacher Training, Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga Training, Prenatal Yoga (Basic & Advanced Concepts), Kids Yoga Teacher Training, Yoga for Weight Management, Restorative Yoga Teacher Training, and more, helping expand yoga education beyond traditional Hatha Yoga. These programs were introduced long before they became popular in Nepal, making us one of the true pioneers in modern yoga education.

Students from different countries choose our yoga academy as a trusted destination for authentic, traditional, and modern yoga education in Nepal. We continue to offer high-quality training with strong teaching standards and well-developed facilities.

We are not just a yoga studio—we are a dedicated learning space where students experience real yoga under the guidance of Nepal's leading teachers.

What makes us different is the additional value we offer as part of the experience. This includes free airport pickup for a smooth and stress-free arrival in Nepal, as well as cultural and nature experiences such as guided cultural tours, hiking, local experiences, and Himalayan excursions with a guide.

One night stay before the course is included for free, allowing students to arrive one day early, settle in comfortably, and relax before the training begins.

We provide comfortable accommodation, nourishing vegetarian meals, supportive staff, and a peaceful Himalayan environment that supports focused learning and personal growth.

Set in the peaceful, serene hills, our retreat offers fresh mountain air, natural beauty, and a deeply calming atmosphere—an ideal yogic environment for yoga, meditation, and self-development.

Located in the peaceful Chandragiri Hills, just 30–35 minutes from Kathmandu city, students enjoy both a calm natural setting and easy access to the city during days off.

At Mandala Yoga Retreat, students experience deep personal transformation, professional development, and an authentic yogic lifestyle in a supportive and inspiring environment.

Extra Learning Opportunities During Your Free Time

During your yoga training, you will have free time to expand your skills beyond traditional yoga practice. One of the most valuable options is Himalayan Sound Healing Training, which can be combined with your yoga teaching to create a more complete and in-demand offering in today's wellness world.

In the modern yoga industry, students are increasingly looking for unique, therapeutic, and holistic experiences. Combining sound healing with Yoga—especially Yin, Restorative, and Hatha—adds a powerful dimension to your teaching and helps you stand out as a more versatile instructor.

Sound healing with Tibetan singing bowls is now widely practiced around the world. At Mandala Yoga Retreat, we have been integrating it with yoga for many years, long before it became globally popular.

By learning this additional skill during your stay, you can:

  • Save time, money, and travel costs, including accommodation and meals, as you are already staying at the retreat for your yoga training
  • Develop a professional skill in sound healing therapy
  • Offer private sessions, group classes, and healing experiences
  • Increase your income opportunities as a yoga teacher and sound healing practitioner, offering yourself as a healer in the wellness field
  • Expand into retreats, workshops, and therapeutic sessions

The cost of the Singing Bowl (Sound Healing) Course is USD 500.

This combination of yoga and sound healing helps you build a more sustainable and diverse career in the global wellness industry, while you are already here for your yoga teacher training.
